Home Buyer Bootcamp

About 60-70% of my clients are first-time home buyers. I have found that the single most important thing that I can do to help new buyers make a wise purchase is to turn them into educated consumers. If you are a first time home buyer, I am going to insist that we look at a MINIMUM of 10 homes together for educational purposes ONLY. During this time, I will teach you about:
> Quality construction
> Foundations
> Roofs
> Location, location, location
> Floor plans
> Flooring
> Kitchen cabinets/counters
> Appliances
> Windows
> Zero-lot lines & more

Your job during boot camp is to do nothing except ask questions, tell me what you like and dislike about each home, and learn everything you can. Boot camp could take one meeting or two - it's your call. If you are still shopping REALTORS®, we will look at 3-5 homes only.

Although I generally let you dictate which houses we will view, during boot camp I like to make some of the choices. I will be selecting homes that serve an educational purpose. Expect to see some nicer homes AND several "dogs". If there are listings that you are really excited about seeing, let me know and I will work them in to our time together.
